Cookie Policy

Last updated

This policy covers brandmastersgtm.com and the Brandmasters GTM platform, both operated by Brandmasters Media. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

It is a short document, because we set one cookie.

Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the EU ePrivacy Directive, consent is required before storing anything on your device unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for.

The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in after you have asked to sign in. That is strictly necessary, so it is exempt from consent, so there is nothing to ask you for. We do not run analytics, advertising, retargeting, session recording, fingerprinting or any other non-essential technology on this site.

If that ever changes, this page changes first, and a consent banner appears before a single non-essential cookie is set.

gtm_sessionKeeps you signed in to the Platform, and carries your workspace role and whether multi-factor authentication is complete. The value is signed so it cannot be altered.Only when you sign inExpires with the sessionStrictly necessary, first-party

If you never sign in, this site sets no cookies at all.

Local storage

Not a cookie, but stored on your device, so you should know about it:

KeyPurposeDuration
gtm-themeRemembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance, so the page does not flash the wrong one on your next visit.Until you clear your browser storage

It holds a single word. It is never sent to our servers, and it identifies nothing about you.

What we do not set

No Google Analytics. No Google Tag Manager. No Meta pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or any other advertising pixel. No PostHog, Mixpanel, Segment, Hotjar, FullStory or Microsoft Clarity. No A/B testing tool. No chat widget. No CDN cookie. No social embed.

We have never set any of them on this site.

Third-party destinations

Some links take you to somebody else's website, and once you are there their cookie practices apply, not ours.

  • Cal.com hosts our scheduling page. When you click "Book a call" you land on their domain, and they will set what they need to run the booking. See Cal.com's own cookie and privacy notices.

We do not embed Cal.com, or anything else, inside our pages, so nothing third-party is set while you stay on this site.

Managing cookies

Because our only cookie is the sign-in session, blocking it means you cannot stay signed in — everything else on the site will work normally.

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data from its settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings. You can also clear the local storage key above the same way.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page. The "Last updated" date at the top always shows the current version. If we ever introduce a non-essential cookie, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting it.
